Library Services

Homebound Service

If you are unable to visit the library due to age, illness or disability, you can participate in the Perth East Public Library Homebound Service. Through this service, a variety of library materials including books, paperbacks, large print, and audio books are selected and delivered to you free of charge. To participate in this great service, please contact Mary @ (519)595-8395

Inter Library Loan

An interlibrary loan will obtain books and other library material not owened by the PCIN libraries from libraries across Ontario.

All library materials requested on interlibrary loan are subject to the availability and interlibrary loan policies of the lending library. Borrowers need a valid library card to make an interlibrary loan request. The service is FREE unless the library lending the material charges for the loan. There is a charge of $2.00 for interlibrary loan items not picked up.

CELA- Centre for Equitable Library Access

The Centre for Equitable Library Access (CELA) makes it possible and easy for all public libraries in Canada to provide reading materials in accessible formats to patrons with print disabilities. CELA also provides training and support to help libraries deliver their accessible services effectively.
