The Perth East Public Library will be recognized as the primary source in the community for literature, information, and access to technology. The library will continue to be a welcoming meeting place and is devoted to meeting all requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act. The library will contribute to the enjoyment, enlightenment, and economic vitality of our diverse and dynamic community.
Library Board Meetings
Board meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm. Members of the public are welcome to attend these meetings which are held at the Perth East Public Library. Board meetings are open to the public and if you are interested in attending or speaking to the board about a specific issue, please register as a delegation with the library CEO no later than the Thursday prior to the meeting. Library Board Vacancy
The Perth East Public Library Board is currently seeking a volunteer Library Board member. Library Board members are responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and management of library services in the municipality.
Interested candidates must provide a completed Township of Perth East Application form for Advisory Boards. Download the Application Form.
The Perth East Public Library has developed written policies to assist the board and staff in ensuring the provision of fair, equitable and consistent service to patrons and responsible financial management of the library's resources.
A copy of the PEPL Policy Manual is available upon request by contacting the library CEO. Alternate formats will be made available upon request.
